Apropos’ Sponsored Slim

christies_hospitalApropos’ staff members have always been known to do their bit for Charity, with many members of staff who do annual fundraisers; such as Brendan Day’s efforts for Centre 33 in late 2012 (to read more please click here), and others whose fundraising efforts go towards charities which hold a special place in their hearts.

This year, however, our Charitable efforts are closer to home, and perhaps even closer to our hearts, as we embark on Sponsored Slim in aid of Christie’s: a charity who have helped many deal with the devastating effects of cancer. Apropos’ employees will be embarking upon this fundraising mission in order to show our support and appreciation to one of our much loved members of staff; Justin Lambert, who has been with Apropos for just over 2 years, and of course: to raise funds for his lifesaving treatment.

We currently have nineteen members of staff signed up to shift the pounds in order to raise them and have been getting off to a great start. Apropos has not specified a set diet so all participants are bringing their own twist to proceedings but don’t think the pressure’s not on! In order to reach their goal and lose 10% of their aggregate weight each employee must loose around two and a half pounds a week-easier said than done!

We’re aiming to raise £1000 and have gotten off to a great start so far! So, if you would like to help support our efforts and watch our waistlines shrink then please click here to donate via our just giving page. If you would like to donate directly to the Christies foundation then please click here.

All donations and support will be much appreciated by us here at Apropos, our colleague Justin, and of course: Christies.
